Two boys whose names we are yet to confirm have lost their lives in a tragic accident after they were electrocuted in the afternoon of December 31, 2021.
A video intercepted by the Trendsmaniac team shows the lifeless bodies of two boys at the shop of a welder in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency in the Greater Accra Region.
The information available suggests that the incident occurred at around 1:00 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021, opposite the Academic City University.
A welder was protecting his welding shop in an open place which has neither a fence wall nor a wire gauge around it. He mostly powers the metal he works with every evening till morning to prevent thieves from stealing the metals unfortunately on December 31, around 1:00 pm he couldn't put the power off with an excuse that he has traveled.
Rumour has it that he has been around the shop this morning but refused to put the power off. Children were playing around it oblivious of the electrification since there isn't any sign of danger. The elder sibling was caught in the web first and an attempt by the younger one to rescue his brother ended him too in the same fate.
