In what no one will ever believe happened, actor Will Smith has slapped comedian Chris Rock in the face on stage at the Oscars and the uncensored video of that moment has taken a center stage on the internet.
At the initial moment of the incident, the audience and television watchers thought it was a stunt until Will shouted angrily twice from his seat, “Keep my wife’s name out your … mouth.”
While Chris Rock was on the stage to introduce an awardee, the comedian had made a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett-Smith’s hair loss and that didn’t sink well with Will Smith.
The actor later apologized when he mounted the stage to claim his first-ever Oscars after three decades of acting in the American film industry. He apologized while taking his prize, but not to the man he slapped.
