The weirdest thing happened in a very unusual way when a young man was caught on CCTV footage stealing what is supposed to be an iPhone 12 Pro mobile phone made by Apple Inc. Report available to us from Instablog9ja suggested that the young man who appeared to be in the shop to buy an item made away with one of the most costly phones ever to be made.
Because of Africa’s inability to combat crime with facial recognition devices across the major cities, many of these thieves who are even caught on camera are left to go unpunished but this case is different as the young man has been caught.

According to reports from the shop owners of where the phone was stolen, it was very easy for the long arms of the law to get this thief because he made the biggest mistake of his life.
The young who definitely does not know the value of what he actually stole, used the phone, an iPhone 12 Pro as collateral to collect a loan of N8000 (Naira) from his friend which was the beginning of his woes leading to his final arrest.

The information available has it that, the lender of the money was tracked down after the news of the stolen phone went viral on Twitter. The lender of the money then gave other information of the thief who then was apprehended and handed over to the police.
