Ghana’s newly appointed prosecutor, Kissi Agyabeng, has fallen into the poor condition of service for teachers ‘wahala’ as he made some revealing comments in one of his radio interviews.
Kissi Agyebeng is a Ghanaian lawyer and academician. Prior to his appointment, he was a lecturer at the University of Ghana and the chairman of the Electronic Communications Tribunal of Ghana.
According to a shocking revelation made by Lawyer Agyabeng, he was never happy with what he was paid as a lecturer back in Legon but had no choice but to keep doing what he does because there was no job in the country at the time.
He mentioned that, if he was being paid well, he won’t have even bothered leaving there for his current position in the country, a special prosecutor. He made the revelations in an exclusive interview with Ghana’s finest male radio voice, Kwame Sefa Kayi on one of his regular shows.
He asked what good it is to be a lecturer in a public university yet being hungry at the same time and to the extent that he cannot buy a bicycle for himself.
