Earlier, we brought you a story of Priscilla Akwagu, a ‘bofrot’ hawker and a mother in Accra who defied all odds to see herself through the university as well as taking care of her child with the proceeds of selling on the streets and graduated with a First Class Degree.
The streets of social media made merry hearing of how this woman was so strong to make a name for herself to the extent that some group of people surprised her on her graduation day at the University of Education, Winneba where she graduated with a degree in Twi Education.
Well, since her graduation, she has been quiet until now when she speaks in an interview on Metro TV Ghana’s The Real Show about her life and what made her feel she can do it and why she did it all.
Priscilla Akwagu explained the hardships and pains she went through on the streets of Accra after having become a mother with no one to look up to and a dream to get educated at all cost.
