The Government of Ghana (GoG) has in collaboration with the major teacher unions in the country began distributing some 350,000 laptops to Ghanaian Teachers.
The unit cost of the laptops according to the teacher unions in a write-up made by the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) is in total GHC1,831.
An amount that is distributed on a cost-sharing basis as; 70:30 between the government and the teacher respectively.
On a contrary video cited by Trendsmaniac.com, a video in circulation has it that the cost of the laptop is not GHC1,831 but rather GHC1,550.
