The effect of the University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG strike is felt largely by new entrants into the country’s public universities as many of the schools are doing everything possible to hold the government to ransom.
In the latest UTAG strike update, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology, KNUST, has done what may soon become the best thing to be done across the country.
KNUST has postponed the 2022 matriculation of new university entrants since the lecturers who are expected to attend this event to speak to the admitted students are on strike until the demands are met.
According to reports, the matriculation may have to be scheduled at a later date, however, the new date is yet to be decided and communicated accordingly to the students who have been affected.
ATTENTION STUDENTS The 2022 MATRICULATION has been POSTPONED till further notice. A new date will be announced later. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted. Thank you.
