The departure of H.E Jerry John Rawlings, a former President, and astute Statesman has been a blow to the entire Ghanaian populace and the memories of the good deeds he has done while he was still around stills live on with them. One year on, the people of Ghana in honour of the giant have organized a mass service. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia finally meets former president John Mahama at the JJ Rawlings 1 year memorial service.
There has been some tension in Ghana and the Ghanaian social media space is taking the heat just like the economy itself. The Vice President and other members of the NPP in a series of engagements have called out former President Mahama and finally, the two leaders have met at an odd ground.

Anyone might expect that regarding the happenings in the last few months, the two will not go near each other but that is quite the opposite. Being adults and understanding that in politics there are no permanent friends nor enemies, they have put all the name callings aside and shown a great relationship out the that is definitely worth emulating by the younger ones.
In a video recorded earlier and published by UTV Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Mr. John Dramani Mahama were seen presenting the new form of greetings, thus the fist-to-fist as they exchange some inaudible words.

As John Mahama is looking forward to coming back into power, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia looks forward to representing his party in the next general elections. We hope everything falls in place for each of them.
