Wendy Shay, an artist on The Rufftown Records label in a post on her Twitter page told Ghanaian musicians to thank their Nigerian artists because they are the reason there is a lot of attention to Afrobeats as a genre of music in the world.

In all sincerity, it appears the remark she made does not sit well with Tic Tac. In feedback made to the post,  Tic Tac, a known hitmaker stated that she had her facts wrong and has no right saying such.

Issuing out his own piece of advice, he asked Wendy Shay to keep enjoying her music, work hard, and most importantly stop speaking about things she has no knowledge of.

This is because he claims Wendy Shay is new to the industry and has no facts whatsoever about the revolution of Ghanaian music over the years.
