Squid Game actress Jung Ho-yeon has made history as the first East Asian to feature in America Vogue magazine after the brand has been in existence for well about 130 years.
Vogue is an American monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine that covers many topics, including fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway. Based in New York City, it began as a weekly newspaper in 1892 before becoming a monthly magazine years later.
For the first time in its 130-year history, American Vogue will feature a solo East Asian woman on its cover. Jung Ho-yeon, best known for her role in the South Korean TV sensation “Squid Games,” talks about how the show changed her life and her future goals in the interview with Vogue.
With this milestone achieved, Jung Ho-yeon joins other barrier breakers like Priyanka Chopra who was the first Asian woman to be featured solo, and Naomi Osaka who was featured in a group!
