National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has tested the laws of Ghana against the government’s decision to compulsorily vaccinate the citizens with the Covid jabs.
Sammy Gyamfi who is a lawyer himself took it up to verify whether there is a section of the country’s 1992 Constitution that gave the power to the Executive through the Health Minister ton direct the forceful vaccination of the people.

This is what Sammy Gyamfi found for Ghanaians:
Article 12 of the 1992 Constitution enjoins the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary, and all other organs of government and its agencies to respect and uphold the fundamental human rights and freedoms provided under Chapter five (5) of the 1992 Constitution.
2. Article 21(1)(g) of the 1992 Constitution expressly guarantees the freedom of movement of all persons in Ghana, which means the right to move freely in Ghana, the right to leave or to enter Ghana, and immunity from expulsion from Ghana.
