The director of Human Resource Management division of the Ministry of Chieftency, Dedaa Wiredu Agyei (Mrs) has in a letter directed all registrars on NaBCo to relieve all persons still working under the program of their duties immediately in order for them to exit the service.
NaBCO which is a 3-year contract receuitment under the Nana Akufo-Addo government is one of the government's flagship programs intended to provide jobs to the teaming Ghanaian youth.
According to the Human Resource Director, even though the contract ended in October 2021, some institutions are still keeping the personnel at post hence the directive.
The letter reads:
This is to kindly remind you that, the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) ended at the end of October 2021. Unfortunately, the information reaching the Hon. Minister currently indicates that some Trainees are still at post.
You are kindly requested to relieve all the trainees of their current duties and allow them to exit from the service. Counting on cooperation in this matter.Dedaa Wiredu Agyei (Mrs)
