The National Teaching Council, the body mandated to regulate the professional development of Ghanaian teachers is set to release the results of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examinations that were written in October 2021.
The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination offered by the National Teaching Council took off in September 2018 and has become an aspect of the Ghana Education Service requirements to be accepted into the Ghanaian classrooms to facilitate and implement the new Standard Based Curriculum.

The examination in its current state is to put the teachers into the professional landscape that they have been lacking in the past years of the country’s educational system and as such, all person who wishes to teach in the Ghanaian classrooms after 2018 is required by the NTC laws to sit and write these exams.
In a statement put out by the public relations unit of the council, plans are fast advanced to release the results of candidates who sat for the exams in October 2021 on December 6, 2021, to enable them to begin processes towards activating their teacher portal for portfolio building.

According to the council, all candidates can check their results from the NTC online portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh by using either their pins given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers.
