Sometime in the past, Passion Air, a Ghanaian domestic airline announced expanding its flight operations into the Volta Region, specifically journeying the Ho airport.
Days after the announcement was made, the company had its test flight conducted and they started the official commercial flight business into the region, a move most Ghanaians appreciate and lauded.
Well, things may be coming to a standstill for both the company and the people of the Volta Region after information available proves that the company has halted its operations between Accra and Ho.
In a news bulletin on Citi TV, Trends Maniac picked up information regarding the subject matter. According to the report, the company has made this decision as a result of the incessant price hikes.
The year 2022 has seen some difficulties setting in and this has put so much pressure on commodities, especially fuel prices which in turn increases the cost of doing business.
With this, any company that decides to continue operating must increase the cost of their services and that involves flights from Accra to Ho and Ho to Accra. Since the prices are not stabilizing, Passion Air took the decision to suspend its flights to Ho.
