The Quiz team along with the coordinator was on Joy News in the early hours of November 29, 2021, to express their gratitude to the whole of Ghana for the support they have received even though they came out with third place.

In answering the question of how it became possible for the school to get to the finals by beating all other competing schools it was drawn against in the preliminary stages, the Quiz coordinator explained that everything was made possible by the old students of the school

According to him, there is a National Science and Maths Quiz governing board in the school which is constituted by old students and former participants in the competition. He explained that some of them took time off their regular jobs to spend time with the team and encourage the contestants and that had been an inspiration against which they leaned to get to the finals of the contest.

The coordinator and the team used the platform to appeal to the people of Ghana to help them with laptops, an assembly hall to host events as well as an ultra-modern science facility to help in future competitions.

By this, it is just right to appeal to all schools in Ghana to make good use of their old students’ bodies in making the current students better people as a number of them look forward to having good mentors who were products of the school.
