A young man who goes by the name Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor has been picked up by the Tema Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service over a post he made on social media that incited an intent to stage a coup if the controversial e-levy is passed by Parliament.
A statement by the Ghana Police Service, the post made by Oliver Vormawor contains a clear statement of intent with a possible will to execute a coup in his declaration of intent to subvert the constitution of Ghana.
The statement further mentioned that Mr. Oliver Vormawor will be arraigned before the court on Monday, February 14, 2022, for due processes to be carried out as soon as possible.

The police are calling on all Ghanaians to desist from making pronouncements that will lead to a breach of peace and put them at risk as well.
