Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has delivered a number of furniture to schools in his constituency ahead of the reopening of basic schools. He recently launched Ghana’s first Furniture And Footwear Bank (FFB) in his beloved North Tongu.
The facility (FFB) was established to drive the production of metal fabrication, furniture production, and footwear supplies. It is now being used to spearhead the production and supply of school furniture to various schools across the North Tongu constituency.
In a social media post, the Honourable member indicated that his team of volunteers is determined in supplying quality desks to public schools including the remotest ones, ahead of reopening this week. This initiative falls under the #NorthTonguRising agenda he has been pushing for a while now.
It’s been raining school furniture from our North Tongu Furniture & Footwear Bank [FFB].
Together with our amazing volunteers, we are determined to supply adequate quality desks to public basic schools including the remotest ones, ahead of reopening this week.#NorthTonguRising pic.twitter.com/F81rAxbPTv

Moreover, he recently donated cement to the North Tongu Pensioners Association. This is towards the construction of a multipurpose district pensioners building which comprises offices, meeting rooms, and a social center. In fact, Honourable Ablakwa has been doing a lot of marvelous things for the people of his beloved constituency.
And it is in this regard that we can confidently say, he is truly one of the best performing MP’s in the entire country. His track records speak for themselves. If every constituency can get an MP like Hon Okudzeto then Ghana will certainly progress as we all hope for.
As schools begin this week for all public schools across Ghana. And as every parent out there is preparing for their kids’ return to school. One thing they will hope for is a conducive environment for their wards to study. That includes quality and adequate desks for their classroom.
This is exactly what the honorable is trying to achieve through this wonderful initiative. Total elimination of the “No-furniture” syndrome in various public schools across his constituency. We say Ayekoo to the Honourable. And we hope he continuous the good works he has been doing for the people of North Tongu.
