Within the past few days, there have been some reports that Nollywood giant Jim Iyke has dumped his birth religion, i.e. Christianity for Islam for personal reasons.
This report follows a post on Twitter by a tweep that the actor of whom he shared a picture has accepted a new faith in Islam while letting go of the religion he grew up following.
The Twitter post captioned; ”I heard that the popular Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has reverted to Islam. Alhamdulillah! Welcome to Islam, a religion of peace. We welcome you wholeheartedly,” the Twitter user wrote.
Well, Jim Iyke is saying the words of the post will only remain as a rumor as shared by the tweep who has his own agenda for making such a post.
Reacting, the actor dismissed the reports as rumors while stating that the photos shared on the internet which triggered the claim were taken from a movie he’s currently shooting in Ghana.
He added that he has no plan of ever joining Islam so that alone should make the wild allegations void. Captioning the post, he wrote:

So this matter about Jim Iyke’s religion is finally laid to rest as he is still with the Christian faith as always
