Manchester United forward has disclosed that he is not going to be training with or playing for the club until further notice after he has been released on bail pending further investigations.

A United spokesperson said on Thursday: “Although Mason has been released on bail, that doesn’t change the situation with regard to him not training or playing until further notice.”

Greenwood, born in Bradford, came through the United academy and made his debut against Paris Saint-Germain in March 2019 at the age of 17.

The forward has played 129 times, scoring 35 goals for United, and attained his first England cap against Iceland in September 2020.

We hope that the young lad races through these tough times and comes out stronger as he has always said himself after his release.
