Now let us look at how far the authority has come with regards to its offices across the Volta Region and how you can get registered for this important national ID Card.
Currently, NIA has offices at all the district assemblies in the region and you would have no problem getting a card. However, these offices are not yet operational because of some unforeseen reasons and the institution is working to resolve it all.
There are offices at Anloga District, Keta District, Ketu South municipal, Akatsi South District, and other district assemblies but are not functioning at the moment.
According to the NIA the main reason these district zones are not operational is because of the unavailability of personnel to man them. In the quest to resolve these challenges, applications have been accepted, aptitude tests written and interviews granted to shortlisted applicants for the purpose of permanent jobs in these offices but the end of October 2021.
However, there is a place you can get served before the district support offices come to force. The NIA office is located in Ho the regional capital. For the exact location, you can find an office just in the same vicinity as the regional education office and the office of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
Do well to find time to go and register before it is too late to get on board. You are important to the NIA just as you are to Ghana.
