I love the fast and furious franchise that is why I’d like to tell you a little about my favorite comic actor from the franchise Fast and Furious Tyrese Gibson and his children.
I guess we all love good action movies that leave us with a sense of thrill, humor, and desire for more especially those movies in which Tyrese Gibson features.
Tyrese Gibson singer, actor, and songwriter was born on December 30th, 1978. Popularly known in recent years for his role as ‘Roman Pearce’ in the record-breaking movie ‘Fast and Furious’, a franchise that has seen a host of notable stars coming together to create a masterpiece.
The singer/actor has six albums to his name with Black Rose (2015) being the best performing album of the six, it debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, becoming his highest-charting album. He has sold over 4 million records in the United States.

However, Tyrese has been in a custody battle with Mitchell his ex-wife that was spurred by her claims that his methods of disciplining their daughter were physically abusive. As a result, She filed for a restraining order in 2017. Tyrese notably took to social media at the time to plead with his ex “Don’t take my baby” and “I’m at $13,000 a month. What more do you want from me?” He broke down in tears after saying he hadn’t seen his daughter in two months.

Shayla is Tyrese’s first child with his ex-wife Norma Mitchell. He also has a 2-year-old daughter named Soraya from his marriage to estranged wife Samantha Lee. The two announced they were calling it quits in December 2020. In all, Tyrese Gibson has two children who are both girls.

First is the 14-year-old Shayla Somer Gibson the first daughter of Tyrese Gibson. Born on July 11, 2007, to Tyrese and Norma Gibson. Shayla as Tyrese Gibson’s Daughter often attends several functions and award shows along with her father. She is however not active on social media.
Second is Soraya Lee Gibson rose to stardom as the second daughter of American singer and actor Tyrese Gibson. In fact, her mother Samantha Lee is also a renowned personality who is a social worker and an advocate. Born on October 1, 2018, the 3-year-old unfortunately doesn’t have a social media account but you can see pictures of her on her dad’s Instagram page Tyrese as he often posts about his lovely children.
