The Legon Botanical Gardens is an outdoor recreational space with adequate facilities for persons of all ages who are looking forward to having fun on regular days, weekends, and or holidays across Ghana.
The facility is developed with the satisfaction of the customer in mind such that there are daily and weekly maintenance works on-site to ensure the safety and wellbeing of customers and patrons who troop in from various parts of the country for an experience.

Legon Botanical Gardens
The Legon Botanical Gardens is located in Accra, Ghana’s capital city. The site has been in existence since 1950 but has become very useful to tourism in recent times.
Activities at Legon Botanical Gardens are designed for all persons irrespective of their age. There are lessons, fun, and experience for all. Please come Conference with Nature. There’s a playground for your kids.
There is the high rope course which challenges you to make your way through a series of platforms connected by cable, wood, and rope creating a different challenge at each platform. Patrons must note that they must wear sneakers/full closed shoes, trousers/shorts and must be in hand gloves.
There’s also the canoeing experience. Come ride on a canoe for fun and experience the thrill of the water. Cruise around beautiful Islands and Peninsulas which are the sanctuary for birds and their friends the Monitor Lizards in live jackets. It is imperative to know that this service is available from Fridays-Sundays & public holidays. Starts from 10:00am till 5:00pm. Groups with numbers of 20 and above must book in advance.
One can also use the beautiful canopy walkway and make also go fishing in the beautiful dam in the park.

Sundays and Mondays: Administration is closed.
