The National Science Science and Maths Quiz of Ghana has over the years evolved to become one of the best educational competitions in the sub-region and the 2021 edition of the contest has become an eye-opener for people who have never had interest in watching the event either at the auditorium or on tv.
Right after the final declarations of results and award ceremony, the country became over joyous to the extent that even those whose high schools were not part of the final contest found a team to support and rejoice within the long run, and Science and Maths quiz mistress Elsie Effah Kaufmann made sure that happens.
In more developing news after the contest, the National Science and Maths Quiz mistress Elsie Effah Kaufmann (Prof) has revealed that she is receiving death threats from people who took the hustle to search for her e-mail address and phone numbers.
According to her while speaking in the regular thank you and appreciation tours after the contest, the reason for the threats is that she was not fair to other contestants at the final.

She went ahead to state that the threats were largely attributed to some 15s she gave to the Prempeh college contests in the grand finale which were in no way against the norms of the event.
According to her, there are rules for the competition and she only follows the rules so she did not favor anyone. She also outlines the measures put in place to address issues of cheating and favoritism during the contest and once the event ends, nothing can be done about it other than to make noise on social media.
