A Uk-based Ghanaian DJ, DJ Paak whose full name is Paa Kwesi Kwarteng Darko has sent a message to Ghanaians to appreciate what they have now since nowhere is actually cool like they think.
The DJ who was reacting to a series of complaints by Ghanaians after Twitter influencer Kally Jay made a Tweet said the price of a liter of fuel in the UK is GHC14.00 so Ghanaians should be okay paying a little over GHC8.00 for same in Ghana.
Reacting to the comment, many Ghanaians did not take kindly to his assertion as they bash him for making what they describe as reckless commentary.
For many, the standard of living in the UK cannot be compared to Ghana thus it was erroneous for DJ Paak to suggest that Ghanaians were lucky for buying fuel below GH¢14.
Here is a Twitter reaction from Ghanaians:
@majiddysmyname: Oww Paak paaa…u make ishock gyv u oooo…..daily minimum wage in Ghana is basically 13 cedis and that in UK for just an hour is 85 cedis. So this your analysis de333
