Da Sound Lord, known on stage as DSL for short has been crowned winner of TV3’s Mentor X 2021 edition after he put up some spectacular performances on the night of January 9, 2022.

DSL has been proving his worth to the whole of the world right from the onset of the Mentor X contest as he tries to catch the attention of the judges week in week out.

According to DSL, the meaning of his name DSL is Da Sound Lord, a name he traces back to his childhood days when he tries to make music with every sound he comes across including the sounds of things that he is sent to buy.

Over the period of the Mentor X contest, the judges have also disclosed how surprised they will be if DSL does not win the contest since he has got the great humor of an artist and the composure to last in the Ghana music industry and the world at large.

DSL received a GHC10,000 cash prize, a brand new car, a recording contract, and promotion internationally, a sign-up to Linkx Entertainment, and GHC500,000 worth of airtime across all Media General’s platforms.
