Producers of the controversial TM1 Laptops for teachers have disclosed that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has started the distribution of the laptops to teachers in the JHS division after the service ended the distribution of SHS teachers in December 2021.
Teachers at the pre-tertiary level in Ghana under the Ghana Education Service took a nose-dive at the service for forcing them to take a laptop they claim has not been tested by anyone.
The issue became worst after the government of Ghana deducted some GHC500 from the Professional Development Allowance of the teachers in November 2021 as part payment for the laptop.
Though these teachers as still in pain over the laptops, the government keeps distributing, and this time the JHS teachers are up for theirs.
According to a post made by KA Technologies, JHS teachers have begun receiving their laptops and as such, all JHS teachers should contact their district/municipal education officers for their dates.
