The leadership of the Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD) has deployed the CAGD payment schedule for 2022 to enable public servants to know upfront when their salaries will be paid and when they should receive their pay from the respective banks.
In Ghana, the Controller and Accountant-General are responsible for disbursing funds in form of remuneration to staff on the government's payroll and this is just the reason they have decided to inform those who look up to them ahead.
In the letter which was signed by the Ag. Controller and Accountant General, the general public is informed that the various banks of individual employees will be making the payments into their accounts on the dates published and any change will be communicated as such.
Please take your time to look at the dates and make adequate preparations ahead of each of the payment schedules of the CAGD.

It is ideal to know that, banks may delay in the payment of salaries into the accounts of employees but this will not be the fault of CAGD.
