The United States of America has opened its borders fully to some selected countries based on their methods of handling the pandemic and the rate at which citizens are getting infected as well as the rate of death. But even at this, there are still measures in place to make sure that people coming from these countries are actually negative of the virus. Can Ghanaians Travel To USA Now?
The travel industry has been asking for US President Joe Biden to lift the ban. The White House has outlined new rules for foreign travelers to the US, as flight restrictions lift for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020.
The plan to reopen the US border to foreign flights includes a requirement that almost all foreign visitors be vaccinated against Covid. The US has also opened to Canada.
Basically, Ghanaians can travel to the USA when they are granted their travel Visa. However, everyone traveling to the USA from Ghana must be vaccinated or possess a PCR test result that proves that such a person is free of the virus. These results must not be more than 10 days old.
