Ghana onscreen personality Berla Mundi is angry after she spent a whopping 7 Cedis on 2 fingers of plantain which according to her used to sell for just 2 Cedis months back.
The Ghanaian economy has since 2019 seen some form of economic hardship and the 2022 version of the cost of living has got even millionnaire businessmen complaining.
The prices of petroleum products have gone up and according to experts, it is the reason why everything is skyrocketing all of a sudden and Berla Mundi has seen her fair share.
In a self-recorded video in her car, Berla Mundi lamented that at a particular joint, she used to buy 2 fingers of plantain for 2 cedis. However, just after closing from a meeting in East Legon, she decided to have some and reality starred her in the face.
She had to spend an additional 5 cedis in order to be served her usual 2 fingers and groundnut hence her outcry on social media. Watch the video here…
