Australia Travel Ban Update
Since March 2020, Australia has had some of the world's strictest border rules, a policy that even includes banning its own people from leaving the country.
Many Australians have praised the idea and have described it as the best way the country was about to suppress the outbreak and outspread of the covid-19 pandemic.
In multiple press briefings, the state authorities have mentioned that people would receive their lives back once the country is able to vaccinate up to 80% of its citizens as a way of fortifying them against the virus.
The time has come for that promise to be restored. From November 2021, the country's borders would be open once again. Travel, however, would not immediately be open to foreigners as the government has declared but the government said it was working towards welcoming tourists back to the Australian shores.
This means that from November 2021, foreigners who have been prevented from traveling to their home countries after their arrival in Australia would have the chance to get back to their families finally.
