Yahaya Adoza Bello, a Nigerian politician, businessman, and the current Governor of Kogi State has declared his intentions to run for the presidency of Nigeria ahead of Ahmed Tinubu if his party accepts him after the internal conventions.
Speaking in an interview on Channels TV, Governor Yahaya Bello disclosed that he will not hesitate to run as president of the people of his party who are well-meaning Nigerians call on him to serve the party and the country at large.
He said the All Progressive Congress Party has been built solidly to project him to the top should he be declared as the most suitable choice to lead them in the 2023 Nigeria Presidential Elections.
Governor Yahaya Bellon said:
“We are looking forward to the convention of our great party and by the grace of God, I will declare. But we must have a platform to run on and that is the All Progressives Congress. The party has been built solidly under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni. They have done a great job, we shall conclude the rest in our convention.
“By the mandate and calling of Nigerians, Nigerian youths and women and people all over the world that are calling me to run and build on the achievement of President Muhammadu Buhari. I will surely answer them immediately after our convention as the case may be.”
